Hello again from Killaloe, Ontario, Canada...
I am writing you all today to ask for a special prayer. Vic and I are flying to Florida tomorrow to bring Wendy home. This will be the first time she has been home in over 10 years. Last night she started getting cold feet and wanted to bring home a so called boyfriend. Vic had to put his foot down and say NO. That is a first for Vic! She has been clean and sober for several weeks now.. Praise GOD! However last-night she was drinking and she kept calling us most of the night. We just let the phone ring. Today we will call her to let her know that we will be down tomorrow as planned.

We need your prayer to ask God to help her through this as well as give us the strength not to get upset.

I don't have much time as I have a board meeting today and I must complete all the bookkeeping and filing before I leave. I also have to write a short newsletter to all our residents to let them know why I am away. Gosh I think I'm going to be busy.. Smile..

I do pray you all have a wonderful day and to all the Fathers out there have a fantastic Father's Day this weekend.

On that note I will close until next time..

Angel , I'm asking for prayer for myself as I'm a little bit worried ,I'm having surgery on my stomach on the 11th of this month and they are doing a "Lap Nissen " which is where they repair a hernia and wrap the stomach around the top of my esophoscs (sp?) to stop the severe acid reflux ,and I have very bad veins (and no it is not from drug use )the valves blow everytime they try to put a IV in my veins and it is very painful for me , the doctor is telling me this surgery is very risky , So I'm am asking you to please put my on the prayer list and let the good lord bring me through this with out any problems , thank you and hope all is well with you and yours . Today i got a letter that my son made the gifted and talented program here in NYC......right now i honestly don't know whether I'm going to send him or not. I'm not sure which is better for him I've spoken to both Steve and my Mom, i will be sending his teachers a note that i want to speak to them on this ASAP. Right now i just need prayers for the choice, I'm not totally sure which one is actually better for him His lamb Marie

my friends husbands mother is in the hospital and things don't look good. she can't cough anything up to help clear her lungs, etc. Her blood levels are down. they were called this morning to come to the hospital and she will call me back later today to let me know what is going on. She has some major swelling on the brain. This is all that I know as of now.

my sister Kay had a 100% blockage in her right Coronary Artery they put a stint in , thanks the Lord and your prayers!!, she is doing better, Hugs Millie

We need prayers immediately!!!!!!
Randys Mom was transferred to a larger hospital in Terre Haute IN. She has had a Cerebral Hemorrhage. WE talked to the nurse in ICU where she is. She is on a ventilator and not doing well. We are in the process of making arrangements to go there as soon as possible. Please pray first of all for Mom. Secondly, that we can make arrangements to get there as soon as possible. Thank you all so much. Please pray for a missionary in Peru. Please pray for Shannon Morgan, one of our summer missionaries who is in the Clinica San Felipe here in Lima and will be having surgery on a broken leg this evening at 7 pm. Please pray for the peace of the Lord to cover her as well as her parents, who at this moment are feeling very helpless. Shannon is in room 307 and will be in the hospital for the next 3 days. Thanks so much.

Thank you so much for all of your prayers. I am feeling better today. Mostly a little tired from running to the bathroom yesterday. LOL I know I will be fine, because the Lord's hand is on me. Amen and Amen.

Michelle - Mike told me he really felt people's prayers for him today. I did have to take him to the E.R. at the Univ. of WA because the infection did not go away with usual treatment - they gave him IV antibiotics and then sent him home with more powerful pills to combat the infection. So he is at home resting and so far so good - waiting to see what happens tomorrow if it travels - but given all the prayer he has received my heart is believing in the best.

Hello to you all. I am asking for prayers from all the prayer warriors out there. I go in tomorrow for my oncologist appointment and he will do a chest x-ray and blood work to find out if the fluid has gone down in my lungs or increased so that I have to have them drained again. Then I will have a CT Scan or Pet Scan as soon as he can set it up to see if the medication is shrinking the cancer in my lungs and also to see if I have cancer in my bones, brain, or liver also. I am asking for lots and lots of prayers as we all know the power of prayers from faithful prayer warriors. I love you all and I thank you so much for all your prayers. God bless, Patti
